REMSEN — Things in the Mid-Sioux Opportunity office have changed immensely over the past 45 years, but one thing that has not changed is Julie Colling’s dedication to her clients and to her work.

LE MARS — There are two new faces in the Le Mars Physical Therapy office. Both Dr. Katrina Grevengoed and Dr. Madison Glidden are originally from Le Mars and both wanted to come back to the town to be closer to family.

LE MARS — The Gehlen Catholic girls golf team collected all four of the medals in their War Eagle Conference dual against Harris-Lake Park on Thursday at Willow Creek Golf Course. 

PRIMGHAR — The Hinton girls golf team kept their perfect record intact entering Tuesday’s War Eagle Conference meet. The Blackhawks posted a 209-239 win Thursday over South O’Brien at Primghar Golf & Country Club to move to 8-0 in conference play this season.

GEORGE — The MMCRU golf teams split their War Eagle Conference matches with George-Little Rock at Otter Valley Country Club on Thursday.

LE MARS — The Gehlen Catholic boys golf team capped off a busy week with a 174-191 win over Harris-Lake Park in War Eagle Conference action Thursday at Willow Creek Golf Course. It marked the third consecutive day of action for the Jays.

CHEROKEE — The Le Mars Community track and field teams competed at the Tomahawk Relays. The boys portion was held Monday with the Bulldogs finishing third in the larger class of schools.

IDA GROVE — The Remsen St. Mary’s girls track runners raced at OABCIG on Tuesday. 

INWOOD — Just days before getting set to compete in the shot put at the Drake Relays, Akron-Westfield’s Ian Blowe took the state lead in the event with a personal best mark of 61 feet even at the West Lyon Relays on Tuesday.
