Mayor Ellis said the city is actively talking to local businesses about their needs and the progression of the development district to keep residents and visitors shopping locally; in addition to making the district more attractive so businesses can have the desire to stay and build in the city.
According to the City of Monroe, Beauregard Street will be closed from its intersection at South 2nd Street to its intersection at Florida Street to repair a sewer manhole.
