SPEARFISH — Spearfish Post 164 fell 19-14 to Harrisburg in the first game of a varsity high school baseball doubleheader played Saturday at Black Hills Energy Stadium. The teams combined for 15 runs in the eighth, extra frame.

STURGIS — Track athletes from Spearfish, Lead-Deadwood, Belle Fourche, Sturgis Brown, and Newell won a total of 19 events at Tuesday’s meet, held at Woodle Field. Ten of those event wins were in the girls’ division, with nine in the boys’ division.
