Main Street Kirksville (MSK) hired Winston Vanderhoof as its executive director. The executive director will help manage day-to-day tasks including working with the MSK committees, finding new partnerships and renewing previous partnerships, and implement MSK activities.

After reaching the GLVC Tournament for the first time since 2019, the Truman State softball team was eliminated from contention with a close loss to Lewis on Friday. The Bulldogs had dropped their first game of the tournament against Drury 8-0, setting up the matchup with Lewis.
The Truman State baseball team wrapped up the 2024 season with a road series against Upper Iowa over the weekend. The Bulldogs dropped the first three games of the series before salvaging the series’ finale to end the season with a win. Truman ends the season with a conference record of 9-27 and overall record of 12-38, putting them in 14th place in the GLVC.
The Kirksville girls soccer team played its last home game of the season on Monday, taking down Chillicothe 5-0. It was the second-straight win for the Tigers who improved to 8-10 on the season with the victory. Chillicothe fell to 7-12 with the loss.
